| Natural phenomena can produce spectacular displays of light. Just witnessing these events is truly amazing and making photographs of them is even more rewarding. Because of advances in imaging science, better films and sensors enable the capture of phenomena which would have been impossible only a few years ago. These images show physics in action in the form of astronomical and spectral effects, weather and electricity. These images are not the product of computer special effects or manipulation.
